Riverdale Fibre Mill is situated on the Outskirts of Otorohanga and is purposly designed to provide the lifestyle alpaca farmer with a cost effective option for processing their alpaca fibre in to yarn. The mill is planned to be on line by June 2009.

We will be happy to discuse your requirements and provide you with any help you need for your fleece processing. We will be able to process both Suri, Huacaya and blends with staple lengths of 45mm to 230mm (1 1/2 inch to 9 inch) |

Our machinery has been purposely designed to provide a full mill processing operation for smaller batches, we can cater from single fleeces to large batch runs. This is not a mini mill system where the machinery has been built for the cottage industry, but commercially build and ex industrial machines scaled down for a bespoke operation.

Our prices are based on volume. The price you pay will reduce as you process more fleece through our facility. Check out our prices page to look at the options available and the price bracket that suits your needs.
